Subject: ISACA Germany: Call for Pitches for the IT GRC Congress 2025 Programme Committee, BarCamp, Seminars

We would like to remind you of the call in our last newsletter: We are looking for members who would like to support the 10th edition of the IT GRC Congress on 26/27 May 2025 in Cologne as a program committee member.


If you are interested in supporting us (again) and are an ISACA member, please send an email including a short pitch describing why exactly you are the perfect candidate to Julia Hermann by 31 July 2024.

What are the tasks of the programme committee?

1. monthly virtual JourFix
2. definition of the programme structure
3. review of the evaluation criteria and adaptation of the Call for Paper form
4. selection of keynotes and organisation of further programme elements (e.g. panel discussion)
5. individual evaluation of the submissions
6. virtual appointments to discuss the evaluations (as required)
7. virtual meetings with the selected speakers (review of slides regarding content and layout)
8. presentation coaching of the ISACA Germany scholarship holder
9. creation of social media posts during the congress
10. writing a conference report (IT governance, website etc.)
11. moderation of the tracks at the IT GRC Congress
12. stand-by team for short-term tasks during the IT GRC Congress

As a member of the programme committee, you will receive a free ticket to attend the IT GRC Congress 2025 as well as reimbursement of travel expenses including accommodation in the congress hotel - we will meet for dinner together on the evening before the congress. Of course, you can also claim CPEs for your work.

Screening of applications by the organising committee and feedback will take place by the end of August 2024, so that the programme committee can begin its work from 1 September 2024.

BarCamp of the IT revision specialist group

On 12 September 2024, starting at 4 p.m., our IT Revision specialist group is organising a BarCamp to which you are cordially invited. The event will take place in Frankfurt, at the offices of Advisori FTC GmbH (Kaiserstraße 44, 60329 Frankfurt am Main).
