- Events with specialist presentation: Are you an expert in your field and would like to support us with a presentation at one of our free events for members (such as Innovation & Tech Talk Online Events, OneInTech Roundtables (EN), Focus Events, BarCamps) and/or host such an event? Then please get in touch with our office.
- Networking events: Would you like to get to know other association members and have interesting technical discussions in an informal atmosphere? Then we would be very happy to support you in organizing a regional ISACA regulars' table or a meetup.

| NEW ISACA CERTIFICATION: CERTIFIED CYBERSECURITY OPERATIONS ANALYST™ |
| Cybersecurity analysts are crucial for protecting companies from cyberattacks and safeguarding sensitive information. The new ISACA certification Certified Cybersecurity Operations Analyst™ (CCOA™), which our board member Julia Hermann was involved in designing, focuses on the technical skills to assess threats, identify vulnerabilities and recommend countermeasures to prevent cyber incidents. The certification is aimed at all cybersecurity professionals with 2-3 years of professional experience who want to develop their technical skills and tackle cybersecurity challenges more effectively.
The CCOA certification is especially valuable for security professionals who are at the beginning of their career. All further information on the new ISACA certification can be found on the CCOA™ website of our umbrella organization. |
| SUBMISSION CPES FOR 2024, MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL |
| If you have an active ISACA membership and/or ISACA international certification, you have until February 15, 2025 to pay the membership fee and/or maintenance fee for your certification(s) and report your CPEs earned in 2024 for your certification(s). If CPEs and payment are not received by February 15, 2025, your certification(s) will automatically be set to inactive.
Please note that professional development hours can only be allocated to 2024 if they were earned in 2024. |
| | IT-GRC Congress 2025 - Registration now open!
Registration for the IT GRC Congress is now open! Benefit from the early bird discount until February 15, 2025! Our annual congress 2025 will take place on May 26 and 27, 2025 as a face-to-face event in cooperation with dpunkt.verlag at the Gürzenich in Cologne. The focus will be on current developments in the areas of IT governance, information security, IT auditing, regulation and compliance as well as risk management.

Annual General Meeting 2025
At the same time, on May 26, 2025 from approx. 17:00, our annual general meeting will take place. You will find more information about this on our website soon. |
| | Regional ISACA regulars' table
Our next get-together will take place on January 23, 2025, from 16:30 to approx. 19:30 in Weinheim, on the premises of suhling tooling GmbH (Hauptstraße 128, 69469 Weinheim). The maximum number of participants is limited to 13 people.
If you would like to take part in the regulars' table, please register in advance so that we can better estimate the number of participants. If you are unable to attend in person, you can listen to the presentation remotely. You will receive 1 CPE for your participation.

| | CyberSip - Women4Cyber AT Morning Meetup January
On January 27, 2025 from 8:15 am to 9:00 am the 1st CyberSip 2025 of Women4Cyber Austria | LinkedIn via MS-Teams will take place. Dr. Judith Wunschik, Chief Cybersecurity Officer & Global Head of Cybersecurity at Siemens Energy will give exciting insights in her keynote speech on the following topic: “Cybersecurity goes Business! Die doppelte Rolle: Von der Risikominimierung zur Kundenbindung”. There will be an opportunity for a Q&A session after the presentation.
