The Innovation & Tech Talk Expert Group invites all members and interested parties to the Tech Talk on March 31, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (CEST), this edition’s topic will be "Security and testing of SAP S/4HANA".
In this presentation, Thomas Tiede discusses the challenges for auditors when migrating from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA. Essential security aspects and safeguarding mechanisms will also be considered.

| | | Data Protection - Tech Talk Online Event
The Data Protection Expert Group invites all ISACA members to a Tech Talk on April 28, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with the following topic: "Operationalization of data transfers to third countries in the wake of court decisions on data protection law (in particular the so-called Schrems II decision)".
With the Schrems II judgment of the European Court of Justice (ECJ), it became clear once again that data processing companies in Europe must continuously guarantee the applicable protection for personal data if the target country does not have a data protection level comparable to the GDPR. If there is no recognition of the level of equivalence for a country, data exporters must base the transfer on one of the transfer mechanisms provided for in the GDPR for this case. According to Schrems II, the data exporter must also be checked as to whether the selected transfer mechanism is effective in the target country or is deprived of its effectiveness by the regulations there. If this is the case, it must be checked whether a level of protection comparable to the GDPR can be guaranteed by additional measures between exporter and importer.
The main steps taken by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), which now result for data exporters from the scope of the GDPR, are described in a series of articles on a weekly basis until the event date. | | | Risk Management Congress 2022
Our cooperation partner, the RMA e. V. is organizing the 16th Risk Management Congress; our members are cordially invited. The congress will take place on May 16 and 17, 2022, in Freising.

| | RISC-Congress of the Frankfurt School Verlags
As part of our cooperation with Frankfurt School Verlag, ISACA members will again receive a discount of 100 euros on the applicable registration fee at the RISC Congress on June 30, 2022. The conference is planned as a hybrid event - so participants can attend on-site or via live stream.
